Privacy Policy
Introduction
The Enconfidence Ad Software does not collect or maintain any personally identifying information about you, meaning, among other things, that we will not know your name, your e-mail address, your home address, your phone number, etc. The software does track the Web sites you visit through your computer as a means to assess your interests. Generally, such information is anonymously aggregated with the information of other users to determine interests and trends. It is possible, however, that we could use the information regarding specific sites that you visit to send you Enconfidence Ads that might be of particular interest to you. However, even in such circumstances, the Enconfidence Ad Software will not associate such information with other information that would enable us to identify you, as we do not obtain or maintain any personally identifying information.
Enconfidence Ads
Any Ad generated by the Enconfidence Ad Software will clearly indicate that it is an Enconfidence Ad by stating that the Ad is from the TEAM Network. Please note that the delivery of an Enconfidence Ad is generated by the Enconfidence Ad Software and not by the Web site that you may be viewing at the time that the Ad appears or the publisher of that Web site. Enconfidence Ads may be displayed from advertisers who compete with the publisher of the Web site that you are viewing when the ad appears.
Information Collected by Enconfidence and How It's Used
We intentionally do not seek information that would enable us to learn your identity, nor do we obtain or maintain personally identifiable information about you such as email addresses, last name, street addresses, or phone numbers or any other sensitive or personal financial information, such as credit card numbers, login IDs, passwords or bank account numbers. Warning: Enconfidence will never ask you for any such personally identifiable information.
The Enconfidence Software does, however, transmit limited non-personally identifiable information (the "Collected Information"), such as your computer's IP address, type of browser and operating system, unique software ID, version of the Enconfidence Software, internal software status indicators (including error codes to determine if the Enconfidence Software has encountered any internal errors), a tag that identifies any Enconfidence distribution partner from whom you may have downloaded or installed the Enconfidence Software, Web sites that you may visit, whether you have interacted with any Enconfidence Ads or registered for any products or services advertised by an Enconfidence Ad (although we will not obtain or maintain any of the registration information), your astrological sign and your time zone. We collect information regarding your Web surfing habits so that we can target advertisements and promotions that may be of the most interest to you. We will aggregate such information with the information of other consumers so that we can identify trends within our user base. We may share such information with our Advertisers to give them a sense of the interests of our users, such as informing a client that we have 10,000 users who visit Internet travel sites.
Collected Information also includes keyword and error search queries entered in your browser. Please note that search query information collected by the Enconfidence Software is generally maintained by us on an aggregated basis (i.e., together with the queries of all of our end-users) for the purposes of generating statistics regarding the use of the Enconfidence Software (such as the number of queries performed by the average end-user per month, a list of the most popular query terms, etc.), and is never used in a manner that associates specific search query information with other information that would enable us to identify you, as we do not obtain or maintain any personally identifying information. We may transmit search terms or phrases to certain third parties with whom we may have subcontracted to obtain Internet search results or other services in response to such search queries. We may also use search query information to send you Enconfidence Ads that might be of particular interest to you based on the search query information.
Any information provided to any Enconfidence employees or contractors, such as our technical support department, may be stored on our servers in archives of our support and customer service department. This information, however, will not be associated with the information we may store and use listed above.
In the event that Enconfidence merges with another company, transfers or sells substantially all of its assets or capital stock to a third party, all Collected Information would be included in the merger, transfer or sale and that company would be bound by these Terms and Conditions just as we are bound today.
If legally required to do so, we will disclose to a third party any information we have.
Display of Enconfidence Ads
Any Ad generated by the Enconfidence Ad Software will clearly indicate that it is an Enconfidence Ad by stating that the Ad is from the TEAM Network. Please note that the delivery of an Enconfidence Ad is generated by the Enconfidence Ad Software and not by the Web site that you may be viewing at the time that the Ad appears or the publisher of that Web site. Enconfidence Ads may be displayed from advertisers who compete with the publisher of the Web site that you are viewing when the ad appears.
Enconfidence displays Enconfidence Ads on computer screens in a variety of ways, including, without limitation (1) as separate windows that pop up on top of or beneath other windows on the computer screen; (2) as floating images displayed on top of other windows on the computer screen; and (3) within Enconfidence Software applications.
Enconfidence Ads will only be displayed on a computer screen if Enconfidence Ad Software programs reside on that computer.
Stopping the Display of Enconfidence Ads
To stop Enconfidence Ads from being displayed by the Enconfidence Ad Software, you must remove all of the Enconfidence Software residing on the computer using the Add/Remove Programs function in the Microsoft Windows control panel and removing the software entitled My Daily Horoscope.
Our Use of Cookies and Pixels
Enconfidence Software uses cookies in order to (1) identify how your computer obtained the Enconfidence Software; (2) assist us in identifying computer which have downloaded the Enconfidence Software; (3) identify the Enconfidence Software installed on the computer; (4) control and limit the display of Enconfidence Ads; and/or (5) communicate to us the sites that you visit.
In order to enable certain third parties to display targeted ads and informational messages on our behalf, the Enconfidence Ad Software may read cookie information that those third parties stored on the computer. That information may be sent to our servers so that we can include it in advertisement display requests that we send to those third parties. Please note that when any third party service providers, such as ad serving companies, set and access cookies at our request, they do so in accordance with their own privacy statements.
Third party service providers that serve ads to Internet users, at our request, may use pixels, which enable us to track whether an action has taken place for the purposes of determining what the advertiser owes us for such advertisement.
Voluntary Surveys
We may use surveys in connection with your effort to remove the Enconfidence Software. The survey would be to help us understand your reasons for removing the software. Responding to such survey, however, is entirely optional and will not affect your ability to remove any Enconfidence Software. Also, from time to time, we may display a Enconfidence branded pop-up advertisement requesting your participation in a survey. Again, your participation is entirely voluntary. If any personally identifying information is to be collected in connection with such surveys, such collection of information will be done in accordance with a survey-specific set of terms and conditions (and will not be maintained with any information collected hereunder).
Changes to our Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and you will be alerted to those changes if they are material. Your continued use of the Enconfidence Software after any such changes have been made will signify your assent to the changed Privacy Policy.
