PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy (???Policy???) integrates the Terms of Use (???TOU???) of WESHOW??s Portal (???Portal???). If User has any questions regarding the Policy, they shall be sent to privacy@weshow.com. Users shall verify and abide by privacy policies of web sites which User may access through links available in the Portal.
1) Collection Of Data
Each time User visits the Portal, WESHOW collects some limited information that User??s browser makes available, with the purpose of improving the overall quality of User??s online experience. This information includes User??s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of User query and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify User browser. In addition to collecting these types of information, WESHOW collects aggregate queries for internal reporting and targeted advertising. WESHOW also counts, tracks, and aggregates the User's activity into the Portal??s analysis of general traffic flows (e.g. tracking where traffic comes from, how traffic flows within, etc.). When User accesses the Portal, WESHOW may employ "clear GIFs" (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of User anonymously (i.e., in a non-personally-identifiable manner). In addition, WESHOW may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to User to track which emails are opened. To these ends, WESHOW may merge information about User into group data, which may then be shared on an aggregated basis with our advertisers, but WESHOW will not disclose User individual identity or personal data without User permission. In the event that User provides WESHOW with answers to voluntary survey questions, WESHOW may present this information to the Portal??s advertisers and partners, in the form of grouped statistics compiled from our users' answers to such questions.
2) ACCOUNT
For postING comments, votING AND/OR creatING a particular User??s area with favorites videos in the TV, Videos and Awards areas of the Portal, User must register and create an Account, filling in required personal data, such as User name, address, phone number and e-mail address, and other demographic information (such as date of birth, gender, age and interests) from time to time. User name and password will be made available so that User can securely access and maintain the Account. WESHOW may use e-mail addresses and other personally identifiable information from time to time in order to gather and provide to its members and Users improved content and features. WESHOW may use the information we collect to tailor User experience through the Portal by displaying content according to User interests and preferences, providing a faster method for User to access User Account and post comments, sending promotional material from some of our partners, and allowing us to contact User, if necessary. By registering for the Account, when applicable, User agrees to receive e-mails from WESHOW from time to time. WESHOW may use the information we collect to occasionally notify User about important functionality changes to the Portal, new products and services available through the Portal, and special offers we think User may find valuable. Notwithstanding any other term of this Privacy Policy, WESHOW may release any personal information obtained or collected when WESHOW believes its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Portal??s policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. WESHOW may disclose User personally identifiable information upon a transfer or sale to another entity of all or substantially all of WESHOW??s assets or equity securities or upon any other corporate reorganization.
3) CHANGE OF PERSONAL DATA
To update or change User??s personal data in the Account, User shall modify the data filled in in the field ???User details???, as necessary.
4) ACCESS AND USE BY MINORS
If user is under 12 years of age, then User is requested to not use or access the Portal at any time or in any manner. If WESHOW formally learns that personally identifiable information of persons under 12 years of age has been collected on the Portal without verified parental consent, then WESHOW may take the appropriate steps to delete this information. |
