BumpIn takes your privacy very very very seriously!
This Privacy Policy applies to all of the Products, Software and Services offered by BumpIn.
In short, with BumpIn Services, Products and Software, you are completely in control of your information. BumpIn toolbar, browser plugin and software is free of Adwares, SpyWare or MalWare. BumpIn is an opt-in service, which means that you use the BumpIn service only when you explicitly choose to.
BumpIn collects the following information to offer its services to the users:
* BumpIn asks for minimal information when you choose to create an account with BumpIn. We ask for your name, a valid email address and an account password. This is necessary to uniquely identify the BumpIn Users.
* In order to automate the secure identification of its Users, BumpIn places a small file in yoru computer, called a Cookie. If your browser is not set by default to accept Cookies, please enable Cookies to use the BumpIn Services and Software.
* As part of the BumpIn Service, we must record and log information sent by your browser when you choose to BumpIn to other like-minded people on the Internet. This information is used for finding other people who match your interests as well as content on the Internet that matches your profile. This information may include information such as your web request, search queries, Internet browser type, Protocol address, the date and time of your request, browser language and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your computer's browser. This information is important to refine and extend our services, customize our services for our users, and to audit, analyze and research the use of our Services and Software.
* As a principle, we do NOT retain the contents of your conversations with other people, except for legal or technical reasons to protect other Users of BumpIn. Similarly, we do not read or disclose your discussions except when required in accordance to law or to protect our rights and property or in an emergency. Remember that anything posted to the live chat area for discussion is, by definition, public.
* Since BumpIn is a strictly Opt-in service, we do not access any information unless you explicitly use BumpIn. You can close or uninstall the BumpIn software if you wish at any time. We typically remove information of deleted or inactive users within 10 days of deactivation of service.
Changes to This Policy
Please note that this Policy may change occasionally. However, we will not diminish your rights to Privacy of your information without your explicit consent.
