Privacy Policy and Disclosure Statement
ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS and its subsidiaries respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS provides this Privacy Disclosure Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy and practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected online and how that information is used.
I. What This Privacy Policy Covers
A. This policy applies, without limitation, to services provided by ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS through its website www.ArtistData.com, artistdatasystems.com, artistdata.net, or contentsimplification.com including the Home Page and all other pages under the same top-level domain name. This policy applies to how ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS treats personal information that it collects and receives, including information related to your past use of ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS products and services. II. Information Collection and Use
A. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS collects personal information when you register with ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS. Personal information is information that is associated with your name or personal identity. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS uses personal information to better understand your needs and interests and to provide you with better service. All information is maintained in a secure database with standard 128 bit SSL encryption.
B. When you register with ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS we may ask for information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, web site address, credit card information, and FTP information. Once you register with ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
C. Additionally, when you register as a member of ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS using a credit card, ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS will require you disclose the credit card number, billing address of the credit card, name on the credit card and other information as necessary to process payment. E. Third Party Synchronization. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS offers a third party synchronization feature with other websites (i.e. myspace.com website). This feature allows ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS to synchronize data placed on the artistdata.com website by the user to automatically synchronize with the user???s other website. This feature is optional to the user. If user elects to use this feature, ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS will collect a login and password from the user for third party websites. Such information will be used ONLY for synchronization purposes and no other changes will be made to the user???s website. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS is not affiliated with the third party websites and ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS does not guarantee the synchronization service. Users may opt-out of the third party synchronization feature at any time by changing your preferences on the artistdata.com website.

These files get transferred from software used by Internet websites to enable the individual to more easily communicate and interact with the site. A. ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you have requested, when you have granted explicit permission, or under the following circumstances:
1. We reserve the right to disclose your name and/or band name as a client of ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS for ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS marketing and advertising purposes.
2. We will respond to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities, including but not limited to subpoenas, court orders, legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
3. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of ARTIST DATA SYSTEMS??? terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
4.
