VPI.Net collects the following information as you browse through the VPI.Net Website:

Any data collected through the execution of sweepstakes by VPI.Net on the behalf of a third party Website will be used for the sole purpose of drawing and contacting winners of the sweepstakes and will be transferred over to the third party Website. All information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policies of the respective sponsors and their privacy privacy policies.
VPI.Net does not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information about VPI.Net Website visitors unless required for law enforcement or otherwise required by law.
Non-personally identifiable information:
For client sweepstakes, we typically ask for email addresses of users that wish to participate in sweepstakes, emails and/or e-newsletter receipts. Where applicable, passwords for usernames are for the creation and management of their characters and recording and tracking their activities.
For children age 12 or under, we ask them to provide a parent's/guardian's email address for authorization to participate. We will send a separate email to the parent/guardian to confirm their consent to the child's participation in sweepstakes and e-newsletter receipt. Children are not required to provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in these activities.
Children are not required to participate in polls, surveys, or contests in order to use Website or campaigns we create or sponsor or manage.. We collect the above information "directly". In other words, we only receive information that has been actively entered when prompted.
Electronic Newsletters and Emails: VPI.Net offers registered visitors the opportunity to sign up to receive newsletters, emails and/or Website update information. When a visitor asks to receive our email newsletter, emails and/or updates, the child is asked to provide his or date of birth (to confirm age eligibility of over 12 to receive messages), their email address or the email address of his or her parent or legal guardian (if 12 or under).
If 12 or under, the visitor's parent or legal guardian will receive a notification email informing him or her of the childs's request to receive by email the newsletter and/or Website updates on an ongoing basis and give the parent/legal guardian the option to have his or her childs's information be removed from our database. At any time after receiving this notification email, the childs's parent/legal guardian has the opportunity to exercise the option to request that we stop sending the childs the newsletter and/or updates and to request that the childs's information be removed from our newsletter/updates by following the "unsubscribe" instructions found in either their initial notification email or at the end of any of the newsletter and update emails. In addition, parents/legal guardians may at any time review any identifiable information collected about their childs.
All information collected for the newsletter and/or VPI.Net Website updates is used only to send the childs the electronic newsletter and/or updates and may be transferred, disclosed, or shared with third parties who may be engaged by us specifically to handle the preparation and delivery of the electronic newsletter and updates and perform other related technical and processing functions. These third parties may not use the information collected for other purposes and have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
Use of Cookies: Certain web pages use cookies which are small amounts of information stored in your web browser software on your computer. This information is temporary in nature (called session cookies) and is deleted as soon as you close your Web browser. "Permanent" cookies are stored on your computer for your username to manage your character, site preferences and recording of your activity. No passwords are stored in cookies on this Website.
