?? 1 Data collection and processing by the Operator
(1) Service provision by the Operator requires the collection, processing and use of personal data. Personal data is defined as information about personal and material conditions of an identified or identifiable User.

(1) Collecting and saving the data as specified under ?? 1 serves the following purposes: Administration of the contractual relationship Mailing of information regarding the Operator???s service and the existing contractual relationship, Sending of Nickname and password upon initial registration and when the password is requested again.
(2) Date and time of profile creation as well as date and time of the last login are saved in order to identify inactive users.
(3) The User can request incoming and outgoing messages to be saved to enable communication between Users and to ensure that the messages can be accessed again at a later time.
?? 3 Advertising, market and opinion research, advertising rejection
(1)The Operator shall be entitled to use personal data also for advertising, market and opinion research purposes. Advertising can be for products by the Operator and other products alike. In all cases such emails will be sent by the Operator. The User explicitly agrees to receiving these emails.
(2) The User consents to the collection, processing and use of data for the aforementioned purposes. Should the User no longer wish to receive advertising, he/she can revoke this consent at any time.
(3) Personal data in general and email addresses in particular shall not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances other than the cases covered by ??4 clause 2.
?? 4 Data inspection by third parties, data circulation, use of data in other media
(1) The Operator shall not access the User???s private online communication.
(2) The Operator shall be entitled to pass on information to criminal prosecution authorities and courts for law enforcement purposes, provided complaints justify substantiated suspicion of misuse. Furthermore, the Operator shall be entitled to divulge information in the case of civil action pursued by a third party regarding misuse claims. Using the profile in breach of statutory regulations or contrary to the provisions of the Operator???s Terms and Conditions qualifies as misuse.
?? 5 Functionality and use of cookies
(1)A cookie is a text file that is copied on to your hard drive from a web server. Cookies cannot execute programs or infect your computer with viruses. Cookies are assigned individually to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain from which the cookie has been assigned to the User. This kind of cookie expires one month after its creation. Secondly, the Operator uses cookies to help the User personalise the experience of the portal. In this context, a cookie makes it possible to recall specific User information during following sessions.
?? 6 Deletion of data
(1)Provided the User signed on with his/her Nickname and password, he/she can delete his/her data in their entirety. To do so, please log on and go to the tab "Daten bearbeiten" (edit data) (right navigation) and click on the link below "Registrierung entfernen" (remove registration). Confirm the entry by clicking "Ja" (yes). In this case, no personal data remain in place.
(2) In case of misuse or suspected misuse, the data as mentioned in clauses 1 and 2 are not deleted insomuch as they are required for prosecution and prevention of future misuse.
(3) In the case of clauses 1 and 2, the data are earmarked for these purposes exclusively. Using the data for any other purposes is prohibited.
?? 7 Revocation of consent
(1) The User can revoke the consent to collect, save, use and pass on his/her data in the future at any time.
(2) However, please note that in this context many data, given the existing contractual relationship between Operator and User, can or must be processed and used according to statutory regulations, even without the User???s consent. If you want to delete User data in their entirety, we recommend you cancel the contract or induce a cancellation according to ?? 7.
?? 8 Data security
(1) The Operator strives to protect your privacy and is constantly developing technologies for efficient online security in order to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, use and circulation.
(2) A general data protection declaration applies to all personal data collected on the shoppero.com domain.
?? 9 Your right to notification, correction, suspension and deletion
According to the applicable statutory regulations, the User is entitled to view/retrieve (online) the content of the agreement he/she has consented to at all times. Furthermore, you can request information on your personal data that have been saved free of charge via support@shoppero.com as well as rectify false information. Should these data no longer be required, the Operator will delete them upon your request or at least suspend them (if there are specific reasons against deletion).
